The Catalyst Channel

As part of her work at Girl Scouts of the USA, Alison created the Healthy Relationships Resource Series within the P.A.V.E. the Way (Project Anti-Violence Education) program.  This program was funded by the U.S. Department of Justice and as such, these resources are free to anyone who would like to use them.  Each resource is accompanied by a Facilitator Guide and both can be used with young women outside of Girl Scouting, as the topics are grade and age-level appropriate for all users.

If you would like help building or implementing a program at your organization that incorporates these free resources, please contact Alison at hill@ci4g.com or 212-696-0031.

How have the young women you know made the world a better place? What are their plans for future action? Check out The Catalyst Channel, a video feature that introduces users to eigCatalyst Channel Thumbnail 2ht young women who share their personal stories about how they are making a difference in their communities. There are six sections featuring these girls discussing different topics and downloadable tips from them, ranging from environmental stewardship to resume and interview tips, to how to be a successful mentor. After each girl speaks, there is a “Respond” question for users to chat with their friends about what they’ve heard and a “Reflect” question for them to think and talk about their personal connection to these or similar topics.
