As part of her work at Girl Scouts of the USA, Alison created the Healthy Relationships Resource Series within the P.A.V.E. the Way (Project Anti-Violence Education) program. This program was funded by the U.S. Department of Justice and as such, these resources are free to anyone who would like to use them. Each resource is accompanied by a Facilitator Guide and both can be used with young women outside of Girl Scouting, as the topics are grade and age-level appropriate for all users.
If you would like help building or implementing a program at your organization that incorporates these free resources, please contact Alison at hill@ci4g.com or 212-696-0031.
Grades 9-10
High school provides so many opportunities for young women to explore whom they want to become! In WeBlog: Relationship Matrix, users meet seven bloggers who have written abou
t the unique issues in their lives, including being the “new” girl, driving a car, helping a friend in crisis, and feeling like an outcast. The WeBlog Guide contains activities that follow each girl’s story, and can be downloaded as printable resources or viewed on the screen. The Emoticon E-Journal lives behind each of the seven emoticons on the WeBlog: Relationship Matrix homepage, and contains ideas and activities for users to complete offline.
